Dental Bridges: What To Expect
The dental bridge procedure will require 2-3 visits to our Lititz, PA dentist office. During the first visit, Dr. John or Dr. Sara Gotwalt will assess your overall dental health and take impressions of your teeth to be used in creating your custom dental bridge which will be made to blend with your natural smile. If necessary, a temporary bridge will be put in place until your final restoration is complete.
At the second visit, your dental bridge will be placed, adjusted for a secure fit and if fixed, permanently attached to a dental crown or dental implant. Your dentist will ensure that your new bridge fits comfortably in your mouth and allows normal function for a lasting result.
